Cuisine Unlimited, Inc. was founded by Maxine Turner in 1985 as a small deli and catering operation. During its first ten years, the business grew quickly, and Maxine's husband, Marvin, left his corporate job to help with the operations of the flourishing company. Cuisine Unlimited saw the need for a high-end kosher catering service and quickly filled this foodservice gap in Utah. In 1999, they opened three additional delis and built their own catering kitchens in a 10,000 square facility. From there, the company just continued to grow. Taking on becoming Jewish Wedding Catering experts, executing Bat Mitzvahs and Bar Mitzvahs with a flair, and creating a robust kosher menu (that people from across the country call in to order for family members and corporate catering!).
Maxine Turner continued to show her innovation in the catering world for more than 40 years as the founder and president of Cuisine Unlimited. A strong businesswoman who broke the glass ceiling time and time again, she left a legacy that will thrive long past her time with us. Maxine Turner paved the way for woman after woman to be in leadership roles, spent her time aiding in the community from teaching Pro Start classes to helping refugees get work, and never hesitated to help provide food for those in the service industry. Through all of this, she grew the top-rated catering company in Utah! Maxine is elated to pass on the torch to the next generation of passionate and innovative culinary experts.
